My name is Adina Belanger and I was born and raised in Marquette, and my dance journey began at the age of three at Dawn Dott Dance Studios. I later expanded my training with Ballet at Marquette Center for Dance. After high school, I pursued a Dance major at Wright State University before relocating to New York City to further my career. There, I was accepted into both the Intern Scholarship Program and the Professional Program at Broadway Dance Center. I also became an original member of “Pushing Progress,” a Contemporary Jazz Company in New York, and performed and trained across a range of styles including Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary.

In addition to my performance career, I’ve spent over 20 years teaching with Just For Kix, starting with their summer dance tours. I was first introduced to Just For Kix when I was a member of the Marquette High School Dance Team. We attended their summer dance camp, and I knew instantly that I wanted to be a part of their team. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching full-time at Just For Kix studios in Brainerd, MN, Largo, FL, and most recently, I served as the Director of the St. Cloud, MN program. I’ve also had the honor of teaching pregame and halftime performances at the Outback Bowl and Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa, FL, and worked as part of the Field Cast staff for the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Tampa.
