At our studio, we ask all dancers to wear tasteful, form-fitting dancewear that allows instructors to see proper alignment and technique. Outfits should be appropriate for movement—no low-cut tops, or excessively short shorts. Please ensure that shorts fully cover the dancer’s bottom at all times, including during leaps, kicks, and floor work.
Our goal is to create a respectful and focused learning environment where all dancers feel confident, supported, and ready to work hard! Ballet technique is the only class we want dancers in any color leotard and any pink tights. If they would like a skirt or fitted shorts, that is also accepted.
Hair should be pulled back away from dancers’ face in a bun, ponytail, or braids. This helps dancers practice turns with ease, so no hair should be hitting their eyes. Hip-Hop can have a more relaxed hair style. Ballet technique is the only class where a bun is required.
